Baak snags the Bacon from the center fortress and stashes it along the shoreline of the NW fortress. Baak fends off TS's first wave successfully, only to lose a Cannon to an auto-shot into the too-close wall while auto-targeting NKI's only remaining unit: *a single Thrall!!* Baak, TS, and Kaor fight a tense battle along the shoreline - forcing a prolonged Sudden Death situation. Baak's Dorf was so busy focused on the Bacon that he forgot to fire at any enemy units! From there, Kaor's Warriors were just too much... Great Game!! _____________________________________________________________________________ +011214 2052 BKNT A Borderl^ StB - NKI/TS Wins A Borderland Odyssey / Creep on the Borderlands - Mii 2v2: Terd St. Ain & Nokilli, Baak'lor & Kaor NKI/TS grab the Bacon early and get some really good Cannon shots in against Baak/Kaor - taking out two Cannons early in the game. Baak/Kaor have an *excellent* Ghol Sneak attack that causes all kinds of chaos in the NKI/TS Camp, but NKI/TS follow with a single Brigand (!) who takes out Baak/Kaor's last Cannon! Touche! NKI/TS suffer a funky Friendly Fire incident! (cough) Baak/Kaor get to the Bacon right at the end, and *just miss* an opportunity to take the game to Sudden Death. Great Game!! _____________________________________________________________________________ 011214 2114 BKNT Sieve ^ StB - TS/NKI Wins Sieve / Like Driving On The Railroad Tracks 2v2: Terd St. Ain & Nokilli, Baak'lor & Kaor This game starts off with a HUGE Battle over the Bacon, leaving both sides heavily injured, but Baak/Kaor more so. The Bacon gets stuck on a tree near the center of the map. Baak/Kaor's Cannons are just not on in this one, which combined with the earlier heavy losses is just too much to overcome! _____________________________________________________________________________ 011214 2138 BKNT Sieve ^ StB - Baak/Kaor Wins Sieve / Like Driving On The Railroad Tracks 2v2: Terd St. Ain & Nokilli, Baak'lor & Kaor Baak/Kaor grab the Bacon and take it back to their Fortified Village. The Big Battle takes place within the Village, leaving both Trows dead and Team Baak/Kaor with an edge on the remaining units. No Cannons lost yet. The Final Battle consists of Cannon exchange which initially goes to NKI/TS and then evens out for Baak/Kaor, but Team NKI/TS just can't get in there to get the Bacon! _____________________________________________________________________________ 011214 2203 BKNT Around th^ StB - NKI/TS Wins Around the Bend M2 / The Field of Sorrow 2v2: Nokilli & Terd St. Ain, Baak'lor & Kaor FUNKY!! The two teams start off with different units! One Light, one Dark! Even though Baak/Kaor start off well with a good Fetch strike against NKI/TS's Zerks, they never gain the High Ground and never seem to be in sync in this one... _____________________________________________________________________________ 011214 2228 BKNT The Four ^ StB - Baak/Kaor Wins The Four Leaved Fen / The Four Leaved Fen (2team) 2v2: Nokilli & Terd St. Ain, Baak'lor & Kaor Baak/Kaor's Cannons are *on* in this one! Baak/Kaor fend off *several* Ghol and Heron assassination attempts against their Cannons and manage to keep *all three* the entire game! A couple of shots in the last five minutes are the big decision makers... Baak/Kaor end with 66% survivors. _____________________________________________________________________________ $011214 2248 BKNT wasteland StB - NKI/TS Wins wasteland_v1 / Wasteland: Armies Arena. 2v2: Nokilli & Terd St. Ain, Baak'lor & Kaor NKI/TS grab the Bacon and it never leaves their possession! Although Baak/Kaor got in some good shots, overall they just ran out of time and didn't get anywhere near the Bacon! Whoops!! _____________________________________________________________________________ 011214 2314 BKNT A Borderl StB - NKI Wins A Borderland Odyssey / The Battle of Westermarck FFA: Nokilli, Terd St. Ain, Baak'lor, Kaor NKI grabs the Bacon off the Island and sneaks it away without the wrath of Kaor's or TS's Wights in the deep river! Baak and Kaor get into it on the other side of the wall - in fact, Baak's pretty merciless! Meanwhile NKI and TS are duking it out by the Bacon! TS gets a nice Wight Sneak in against Baak's Herons which wounds them badly, and NKI gets in the *fatal* Dorf Mortar shot which destroys them... From there it's all NKI! _____________________________________________________________________________ +011214 2339 BKNT Around th StB - Kaor Wins Around the Bend M2 / Around the Bend FFA: Nokilli, Terd St. Ain, Baak'lor, Kaor NKI grabs the Bacon and takes it to a well-defended spot on the far side of the Lake. TS gets a small Wight Sneak in against NKI's Ghol Scouts. All is relatively quiet until the last couple of minutes when *everyone* comes at NKI! Baak makes the fatal mistake of *not* flanking TS's army and taking out his Dorfs! These guys *nail* Baak! LOL! NKI *finally* succumbs to the onslaught during a *prolonged* Sudden Death, and Kaor takes it! Great Game! _____________________________________________________________________________ +011214 2359 BKNT Around th StB - NKI Wins Around the Bend M2 / Around the Bend FFA: Nokilli, Terd St. Ain, Baak'lor, Kaor TS grabs the Bacon early but ends up having to defend it fairly quickly. After a failed Ghol Pus attack against TS's Scout Zerks, Baak manages to sneak in two Ghol Bombs and takes them out! TS gets in a Ghol Bomb against Baak's Wight which just plain looks funny! The Bacon gets lodged in the outside wall of a building in the Village and stays there until the end of the game! NKI and Kaor's archers and Dorfs just wait patiently and rip Baak's and TS's remaining melee units to shreds at the side of the building! ... Then an explosion knocks the Bacon *into* the building!! FUNK!! _____________________________________________________________________________ 011215 0030 BKNT A Borderl StB - NKI Wins A Borderland Odyssey / Nemedian Chronicles FFA: Nokilli, Terd St. Ain, Baak'lor, Kaor Think we needed 16-20 minutes on this one - it's a *big* map! And *man* are the colors *confusing* on this one, or what?! Kaor takes the Bacon to the edge of the map. No casualties until 7:00 left. In fact, overall there are few casualties in the entire game! Funny sequence where one of Baak's Thralls pursues one of TS's Wights across several hundred yards of open space! NKI comes in and launches the Bacon up the side of the cliff with a Wight! VERY NICE!! It's his! _____________________________________________________________________________ 011215 0044 BNT Around th StB - Baak Wins Around the Bend M2 / Ghol Riot Anarchy FFA: Nokilli, Terd St. Ain, Baak'lor TS and NKI get into it early with no casualties. NKI grabs the Bacon but ends up being trapped at the edge of the main bluff. Baak gets a good shot in and then he and TS decimate NKI's army on the bluff and launch the Bacon across the river. TS and Baak duke it out at the river crossing and Baak finally takes it. _____________________________________________________________________________ 011215 0102 BNT Around th StB - NKI Wins Around the Bend M2 / Ghol Riot Anarchy FFA: Nokilli, Terd St. Ain, Baak'lor Baak tags the Bacon first, but TS snags it and takes it to the edge of the River. Baak manages a sneak attack against TS, and takes him down to one Ghol in that area - who proves to be a thorn in Baak's side for the rest of the game! NKI sneaks in an attack against Baak and manages to move the Bacon to the center of the River, where he keeps it 'til the end... _____________________________________________________________________________ +011215 0120 BNT Around th StB - Baak Wins Around the Bend M2 / Ghol Riot Anarchy FFA: Nokilli, Terd St. Ain, Baak'lor Man is this game *tense!* The delay on those Ghol Bombs is nerve-wracking! Well you can tell that we're all pretty comfortable with these Ghols now, as it takes some clever manuveuring to get the other guy! Baak grabs the Bacon and sets up an excellent defensive position with it at the base of a cliff. He and NKI get into early followed by Baak fighting off a two-front attack! It's pretty much even for a long time. NKI tries twice to dislodge the Bacon, only to have it launced into Baak's lap up on the bluff! From there Baak does his best to stem off the invading hoards of NKI and TS Ghols - NKI manages to launch the Bacon *one more time* with his final Ghol, only to have it go even deeper into Baak Territory!
