Marius net links in one handy place

I've updated the main menu on all the OoH site pages to now include the very basic Myth Servers page I created in 1837.

I've updated the marius net entries to hopefully make registering/re-registering there easier.

Let me know if there are bad or missing links (other than the PlayMyth.net ones which are down for the time being, obviously).

I've updated the Myth Servers page once more. Note that I've removed the "Attic" folder from the previous URL so you'll need to bookmark the new link.

In addition, I've reworked the main menu on all OoH pages once more to include more goodness in the form of direct links to The Tain, Project Magma, Mything.org, my Myth II Unit Guide, and other stuff.

You may need to look for links that have moved - generally, the top line is OoH relevant stuff, the middle line is more obscure, and the last line is external stuff.

Yeah I noticed it ... the more links gave it away. ;) But all you need to bookmark is the main OoH page... why bookmark all pages? (rhetocial question)

You only need to bookmark the new Myth Servers link if you individually bookmarked it before. :)

Or just use the OoH main page bookmark and then click on that new link. ;) It's so crazy it just might work.

Not a personal criticism, just a semantic one.

I don't like the term 'metaserver'. I understand technically it IS accurate because as a metaserver it doesn't actually host games, it just connects hosts and players to each other so games can be played on the host's machine (as opposed to a gameserver which actually hosts all the games on the actual game server box) - BUT, and it's a really bit but - I think 'metaserver' is a confusing term. Regardless of the technical accuraccy of the term, aren't most people (especially newbies looking for information about the game) going to looking what they think of as a GAMEserver?

That is true... newbies are like that and worse. 8)

I agree. The term "metaserver" has always annoyed me as well. So it's changed. :)

I've also added the OoH Menu to the top of the forums which works for IE6, FF2, Opera9 on Windows - let me know if the Mac doesn't like it (and what browser).

This will make it even easier to get around. :D

I suggest that you make the new links on the forums smaller in font for just the forum links... their size is perfect for the non-forum pages.
