Are there any Edgar Rice Burroughs fans here? Why do I ask, you ask? Because whenever I see the name Tarous Zars I think of Tars Tarkas, that great green warrior of Thark out on the dead sea bottoms of Barsoom.... It's not even the same name, but that's what I think of. Heh.

I read all the tarzan books and a couple of martian ones. I don't remember them at all though.

Tarous Zars is from the Wheels of Time series; as is his map, Emond's Field.
