Does anyone have the ability to contact the magma guys and let them know? something to do with Ruby the rails or some such garbage.

I'm pretty sure it's a known issue -- they posted something about The Tain and Magma forums being down for up to 24 hours for some kind of hardware upgrade.

I believe the HL server is still up so you could always zip on there and check.

Yeah they posted on Sunday (I think) saying that sometime in the next 72 hours the site would be down while they were doing maintenance.
