More myth links...

Talk about Myth, other games and anything else (within the rules)

My site has a section for 'dead' sites.

And you need that link. Photos!

PoRN = Pirates of Renowned Notoriety.

[Don't blame me, I didn't make up the name]

I think this is the place where a link would customarily appear for those of us who don't memorize URLs and who are too lazy to search for things.

Excellent list Elfoid - I noticed when I briefly went through ours again a few more had sadly dropped off the radar...

Cam deGray, Myth Village, Madrigal Chamber of Commerce, another Myth Village-like one, the Creation sites seem to be gone again (I've left the dead links up as VR may post the sites somewhere on the Myth Map Atlas)...

Four of the five "truly archaic" and ancient articles/links that Eddaweaver sent me have also vanished.

And the MythDev Hotline Server as well.

I'm going to revamp that links site when I get a free evening to consolidate it into a big table of sorts.

Heh VR - you snuck a couple posts in there while I was afk!

PoRN = Pirates of Renowned Notoriety.

I wasn't thrilled with their content so opted to not include them on the Main Forums grid but reluctantly put them on the Community list - for now...

Other ones that dropped off the radar include "The Western Onesteppers" (makers of the Avon's Hope movie) - I've left the link for that BUT just noticed that it is broken too! DOH! - and Woohoolio, which was funky and tied to Clan Plaid or one of those...

I've also figured out a way to make the page do "live link checks" and some other neat stuff but that will have to wait for a free Sunday afternoon - might do it as an experiment of sorts... :)

I found this on Bungie.org explaining why - LONG AGO (lol!) - they had to yank the link for Avon's Hope...

Update: The makers of Avon's Hope have requested we stop hosting this movie for reasons of their own. We've had to comply with this request and will no longer be serving this movie from bungie.org.

I've talked to the guy, he said he wanted no more links between himself and Myth. I know of places where it can be found, but he does not know of it and I'm not inclined to tell him. He also wishes he hadn't been credited with a real name, he thinks these films can 'haunt the future'.

Mine needs updating. Creation site's never ever coming back. Clem won't do it. Myth Village has been up and down a bit lately for me, give it a few weeks before you remove it. I'll post if it returns.

Did Cam have Myth content other than his Map Download Page?

MCC I have most or all of floating around somewhere, I have most of the decent *content* from the Creation site (e.g. maps and tutorials) but the map web pages and pages for their projects had way too many incarnations over the years to keep track of. Which is a shame in a way, because Clem is a graphic designer with decent skills so the Creation Pages always looked much better than the average myther's site, they were very professional looking by and large and pretty original.

Cam only had that little site man, that's it.

Before ANYONE gets excited, the links below are not websites. But it lets you see a little of Clem's sites. Happier VR?

It's not the size of the site man, it's how you use it.
