I dunno... I put Frum in a trebuchet once and he seemed to fly just fine.

But come to think of it, I never actually saw him land... :-k

No, yeah, I grabbed hold of an Airship and I've been dropping leggo bombs ever since.

Okay, Magma, Onyx, and the Nine wont compete according to you. I can believe that, but are you saying those three groups and 2 other people are the only mapmakers around? I disagree wholeheartedly.

I said The Nine will but it probably won't turn out great. Which is not their fault - no one's first few batches of maps are that great and it says nothing about their creative abilitiy. There are others but few, and most are very inexperienced or attempting vast tasks such as Point's Civil War plug which we can't expect to come soon.

In 2003 the map-making community was too small to make a great tournie. Growth of the Myth Community in the PlayMyth revival era ended in 2004 - all the guys who left after MWC/the post-MWC smaller tournies never came back for 2005. I just can't expect anything now, given its even smaller. I just did a check, a total of 7 maps were finished for it.

The early registration and deadline have been changed in the original post. And so far there are about eight contestants. Eat your heart out Elfoid. ;)

Unfortunately, given my current work schedule I would calculate the odds of my participation to be approximately 7824.7 to one.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Will see what I can find over the next week.

Have been watching the original Mission: Impossible TV series on DVD and am enjoying catching all the actors and actresses who appeared on the Classic Star Trek series (have done the same with Perry Mason). The music is similar too in many places.

Just tonight I saw Galt from Triskelion playing a military colonel in an imaginary Eastern European country. Too fun.
