OMG!! What an ending!!

HS fends off a Kaor onslaught and moves the Bacon to its final resting place.

HS's Knights are looking good - it looks like VR may take it uncontested at the whistle, but luckily TS contests and then VR comes in, followed by NKI.

VR's Dorf is the major factor in Sudden Death, taking out most of NKI's forces but leaving that one JMan intact, who along with a NKI Ghol keep it contested. Then - out of the blue (ha!) - in comes a lone TS Dorf to clear the area around the Ball, tag it, and vanish in a Puff of Glory!

NKI's JMan is too busy healing - VR is too busy Dorfing the JMan - and both notice too late that their two contesting units (a VR Thrall and the NKI Ghol) were both blown away by that TS Dorf just before TS tagged it and died! LOL!!

TS wins it with no units remaining! *NICE!!*

A comeback and an extremely close ending all wrapped up into one! Woohoo!!

This one starts with each team split into two parts of the map, one half is led by a Trow, the other by a Myrk Giant!

Most of the game is an excellent give and take between both teams, but it all comes down to the ending - and check this one out! - Dang!

TS/HS have a bunch of Heron Guards while NKI/VR have a wounded Trow, a few Heron Guards, two Archers (which are running to the Ball) and a Mortar Dwarf (which is also headed for the Ball). Those Trow are hard (read: impossible) to chase, and there's nothing like trying to charge a Mortar Dorf head-on (see "NKI's Revenge"). It looks like NKI/VR are headed for the win, but some fancy footwork and one Dud at the worst possible moment swing it for TS/HS!

You just have to watch it to appreciate it!

VR takes the Bacon and defends on a nice hill - or so it seems...

HS comes on strong with a seemingly endless supply of Wights, taking a toll on VR and especially NKI! Yowza! Then HS gets in a couple of NICE shots on VR from the lower side of the cliff - but VR manages to return the favor by taking out two of HS's Dorfs. Then TS sneaks in a Wight amidst the core of HS's army and he is seriously wounded - but by no means out!

TS is looking strong but is almost entirely eliminated save for one last Dorf that is serious trouble! NKI comes in with a pair of JMen that look like they just might steal it off the hill. NKI's following Thrall Horde are Wighted and then completely vaporized by TS's lone Dorf! lol!

... Needless to say NKI is not pleased and hunts down this last Dorf with his final JMan in a tense Sudden Death where HS manages to keep the Bacon contested with VR - it looks like VR might take it, but NKI's last JMan gets inside the Dorf's range! Nice! NKI takes it with the Lone JMan Maneuver!!

Great Game!!

NKI and Kaor get into it right away - NKI's Maul and Mortar Dorf make a deadly combination... HS tags the Bacon, then VR, then Baak's Ghols completely fumble their attempt at pus'ing VR (lol!), then HS takes the island again.

HS gets squeezed off the center hill after putting up a *good* fight. It comes down to one *big* end battle - and guess who's there?

... NKI's Deadly Mortar Dorf!! ;)

*Lot's* of back-and-forth melee with the occasional mortar shell - Baak's JMan gets Wighted twice! (he's gonna need a dry cleaner for sure!) - but TS has the upper hand unit-wise and manages to pull off a true steal at the end, exiting the dogpile with a Zerk-led parade pushing the Bacon well out of contention.

Baak just misses a Wight Sneak on NKI - NKI and Baak team up on VR in the center - then NKI takes VR's place. TS tags the Bacon but it is in a nasty No Man's Land under the deadly gaze of NKI, as well as TS and (briefly) Baak.

(FUNNY: Baak has a Dwarf that gets hit by enough arrows to make him one shot away from death - and he manages to dodge many more shots to get back into the woods (he has no JMan this game). Just then he sees TS's lone Archer wading in the water to get him - he watches the arrow leave the bow - but can't move the Dwarf in time... CASUALTY!! What a shot!! lol!!)

It's all timing on this one! One big end battle!! NKI and Baak both come at TS for the ball - Baak and TS take on NKI's melee while TS goes after the rest of NKI's Archers. Baak finishes NKI off in the water and suddenly it's down to two wounded Baak Warriors (one in the red) and one TS Warrior who's almost untouched...

Baak just gets TS with a two-on-one Warrior duel in a tense Sudden Death (watch the two-on-one in slow motion to fully appreciate the shielding ability of Warriors!) - ending the game with only one wounded Warrior!!

OMG!! Great Game!!

Talk about FUNKY! Baak runs into TS early - after Baak tosses a flare right at his own feet by mistake (doh!), he manages to dodge it - but watch in slow motion as a TS flare gets blown right over these Dodging Dorfs (it ends up on the other side of the pond) and triggers the satchel drop above them! OMG!!

Then HS hammers Baak twice!! - once with a Warlock and then with a pair of really tough Dorfs!! Nicely done, HS!!

Baak retreats to lick his wounds - HS and TS come head-to-head but HS gets hit hard with the "Flare Dwarf Cascading Satchel Effect" - HS's last Dwarf launches the Bacon via his dropped flares - and it drops pretty close to one of Baak's circling Dorfs!

This one comes down to a close finish!! TS sneaks a Mortar Dorf in behind Baak but the ghost of Baak's Dodging Dorfs may have returned! ;)

Wow!! A tense game with a really tense ending!!

The cannons are taken out early - HS almost sneaks in a flare kill there!

NKI & HS & TS take the Bacon back to an excellent spot (and one we've never seen after so many games on this map!) - Baak & VR try to work their way in, but just can't get close to these guys!

Nicely stashed and defended!!

... Are there any flares left by the end of this one?!? ;)

Wow!! This one starts off with NKI in what appears to be an excellent little spot - nice hill, Bacon up against the cliff - but both TS and Baak seem to want that hill too! ;)

Watch the Bacon during its launch and you can actually see it change color in midair! Very cool!

The ending on this one just has to be seen to be believed! lol!
